The uvula is a piece of dangling soft tissue above the back of your tongue.
A uvulectomy is an operation to remove (part of) the uvula.
How it works
Dr Miller will use radio-frequency energy to gently remove the excess tissue and open up the oral airway.
Dr Miller carries out the procedure in-office using local anaesthesia. It is non-invasive and can take less than 20 minutes.
There is minimal damage to surrounding cells. Most patients leave with minor discomfort and can go back to normal activities shortly after the surgery.
